My prostrate

has been great

I owe it much pleasure

would that it live forever

Alas, this gland of mine

now finds itself in decline

(so says a man

who does not want to be less than)

The diagnosis of a tumour

has cut into my humour

while I know I am not alone

I feel nervous about a future unknown

I say to my prostrate

this situation does not make me irate

even less do I feel hate

at this turn of fate

That said, I would cheer

if this gland so dear

were less on my mind

and more at the service of womankind
